Welcome to Chuddee. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, www.chuddee.co.uk (the “Site”), and your purchase of our products and subscription services. By accessing our Site and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

This document forms a legal agreement between you and Chuddee LTD. Please read it carefully.

1. The Chuddee System & Subscription Service

Chuddee offers a complete system for a responsible chewing experience, delivered through a subscription model.

• The Welcome Kit: Your journey with Chuddee begins with the Welcome Kit, your initial purchase as a new subscriber. It is designed to provide you with the complete, reusable system and your first supply of gum, containing the MK1 Metal Carry Case, Rosewood Disposal Case, and a supply of Chuddee Xylitol Gum and Disposal Papers.
• Recurring Refill Kits: Following your Welcome Kit, you will receive recurring Refill Kits containing a fresh supply of Chuddee Xylitol Gum and Eco-Disposal Packs to continue your ritual.

2. Payments, Billing & Pricing

• Recurring Billing: The Chuddee subscription is a recurring service. The current price is £24.99 for the Welcome Kit and £16.99 for each subsequent Refill Kit. You will be billed automatically at the frequency you select (every 2, 4, 8 or 12 weeks). By placing your first order, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust our pricing. Should our subscription price change, we will provide you with at least 30 days’ notice via email before changes take effect.

3. Product Information & Health Disclaimer

• Oral Health: Chuddee gum is sweetened exclusively with xylitol, a natural, plant-based sweetener that supports oral health. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) confirms that chewing sugar-free gum helps reduce tooth demineralisation.
  • Disclaimer: Our products are intended to complement a healthy lifestyle and regular dental hygiene routine. The information on our site does not constitute medical advice. Please consult a dental professional for any health concerns.
• Our Gum Base: We made a deliberate choice to use a synthetic gum base that delivers a superior, long-lasting chew and flavour. Our focus is on solving the most significant environmental problem associated with gum: the plastic litter on our streets. Our unique Eco-Disposal System provides a practical, elegant solution to this issue.

4. Shipping Policy

Your Chuddee system is delivered directly to your door, anywhere in the United Kingdom & Ireland. We are committed to ensuring your experience is seamless.

• Complimentary Shipping: All subscriptions include free delivery.
• Delivery Times: Once dispatched, you can typically expect your order to arrive within 2-4 business days. Please note that this is an estimate provided by our delivery partners and cannot be guaranteed.
• Address Accuracy: To ensure a smooth delivery, please double-check that your shipping address is complete and accurate. Kits returned to us due to an incorrect address may be subject to a redelivery fee.

5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

We believe in flexibility and putting you in control of your Chuddee experience.

• Subscription Management: You can pause, skip a delivery, or cancel your subscription at any time through your online account. To ensure you are not charged for your next delivery, please make any changes before your next scheduled billing date.
• Returning Your Welcome Kit: In line with UK regulations, you have a 14-day "cooling-off period" to return your Welcome Kit, beginning on the day you receive it. To be eligible for a refund, the kit must be returned complete, unused, and in its original packaging.
• Hygiene Seal: For health and safety reasons, we can only accept returns on gum pouches where the seal is fully intact.
• Refill Kits & Faulty Goods: We do not accept returns on Refill Kits due to their perishable nature. However, if any item in your order arrives damaged, please contact us at chew@chuddee.co.uk with a photo, and we will resolve the issue promptly.
• How to Initiate a Return: Please contact us at chew@chuddee.co.uk within the 14-day period. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Chuddee LTD. The "Chuddee" name, our logos, the unique design of the MK1 Metal Carry Case and Rosewood Disposal Case, and the "Responsible Chewing" concept are our exclusive trademarks and may not be used without our express written permission.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Privacy & Personal Information

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy, which is separate from these Terms, explains how we collect and use your personal information. By agreeing to these Terms, you also acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
